In the summer of 2000, over 800
comprehensive tests were conducted under
actual field conditions by Tobacco Extension
Agents across the U.S. flue-cured tobacco
area to measure heat exchanger curing
efficiency.

De Cloet Heat Exchangers Ranked No.1
at 86% efficiency.

Built to last with a "S" shaped tubular
stainless steel design and solidly backed
with an industry leading warranty. De Cloet
Heat Exchangers have been proven to lower
TSNA levels in cured tobacco. De Cloet Heat
Exchangers are constructed to international
standards using only high quality stainless
steel. Since stainless steel has a lower
cooling effect, it allows for a more uniform
temperature in the barn by reducing rapid
temperature fluctuations. What's more,
De Cloet has a heat exchanger model for
ALL major North American tobacco kilns,
including a complete replacement unit with
new controls (DCS-3000 Digital Control with
RTD Sensors), fan and motor for stick kilns.
Even better, the burner, heat exchanger and
controller from a stick kiln replacement
furnace can be installed in a DeCloet bulk
kiln in the future if needed.

De Cloet can also get you up and running
fast. De Cloet has created a network of
manufacturers with a large production
capacity capable of timely deliveries on a
"first-come, first-serve" basis.
In addition to detailed
installation instructions we'll also provide
full telephone support. You will be
responsible for contracting the work with an
installer of your choice. The De Cloet Heat
Exchangers come equipped with a custom
designed burner by "Riello", one of the
world's leading burner manufacturers. The
De Cloet/Riello design is dependable and
reliable with a "smart" control box for state
of the art ignition and safety built into the
design.
